Perfect Buttermilk Pancakes

Just hearing the word pancakes makes me want pancakes. I never not want pancakes. But they have to be big, fluffy pancakes with a dot of salted butter in between each and a good amount of warm syrup poured over them. For this recipe, I use 2% milk (Lactaid for me) to make the buttermilk, but you can use whatever you like.
